Goodlinens Towel Review
Updated April 2026: Linen towels might sound like a downgrade, but the Goodlinens towel changed how we think about bathroom essentials in a tiny home. Slim, fast-drying, chemical-free, and surprisingly absorbent, it fits our lifestyle perfectly. Years later, still our top recommendation for tiny house bathrooms.
Hi friends!
We recently got the opportunity to check out a product from our friends at Goodlinens. Our friend Allison was kind enough to send us over a towel for our bathroom. At first, I was confused. What’s so special about a towel? Answer: Everything.
Okay. Here’s the scoop.
For starters, it’s slim and tiny. Compared to our cheap-o towels, it’s practically microscopic. It’s made of linen, so it’s not as fluffy as its cotton counterpart but twice as strong and it has a smoother feel. It’s super light, and the tag doubles perfectly as a hook. Since it’s undyed, it’s a pretty beige color, which fits in nicely with our rustic theme. The simple diamond weave pattern is a nice detailed touch.
Probably my favorite thing about this towel is the unbleached, undyed material used to make it. I feel better using this product on my skin because I know it’s safe. The label also tells me that this towel is exfoliating, which I love. 😍 I’m all about being soft. And speaking of soft, apparently, it gets softer with repeated use. This part makes sense. I’ve had a pair of linen pants for a few years that are soft as can be. It says on the tag that it’s fast drying. Because the material is lightweight, it does indeed dry quickly. I’m not sure about the exfoliation. I do feel pretty soft lately. I can’t attribute this 100% to the towel, but let’s go ahead and say that it is helping. I was worried that it wouldn’t be as absorbent as our old towels, but if anything it dries me even faster. This really surprised me because of the lightweight fabric. I expected to miss the luxurious feel of a big, fluffy towel. But after the first couple of uses, I didn’t even notice. I enjoy this one just as much as our old towels. Especially since it dries me so fast and I’m dressed in seconds anyways. This thing is absorbent! It surprised me that something so small could absorb so much water. It’s funny that this compliments how our house can bring us so much in life with such a small package.
Overall, I love this product. It is crazy that we can customize our bathroom towels to our lifestyle. These towels are eco-friendly, responsibly made, contain no harsh chemicals or dyes, and sit compactly in our tiny home. I would say this product is a must-have if you are considering going tiny or making your space more efficient. Give these towels a shot! We picked up a second one for ourselves.
